Dodonaea viscosa purpurea is a fast-growing, evergreen shrub with beautiful, copper-purple foliage providing fantastic contrast in the garden. Also known as the Purple Hop Bush, it bears ornamental clusters of small bird-attracting, red-purple seeds during summer. Due to its dense growth habit, it is great for hedging or an informal screen. It is useful for soil stabilisation in areas in need of erosion control. Prune lightly in spring for bushy growth; do not prune into old wood.

Conditions: Full sun to semi-shade. Drought, pollution and coastal tolerant.

Crowea Large Flower is an attractive shrub with a compact habit and glossy green, waxy leaves - making it a perfect choice as a small hedging plant or pot specimen. Eye-catching large pink flowers spring from this native shrub in late summer through to winter. Native bees are attracted to the stunning five-petalled blooms. Mulching is beneficial to keep weeds down and to help a cool root run.

Eucalyptus torquata, or Coral Gum, is a small, hardy, evergreen tree with rough grey-coloured bark and pendulous blue-green foliage. It has dazzling coral pink flower displays throughout spring and summer, and intricately- textured red flower buds and gumnuts. This outstanding ornamental eucalypt makes a wonderful street, paddock, shade or garden specimen tree that requires little to no maintenance and will attract birds and other nectar-feeding fauna to the garden in profusion.

Soil: Grows in a variety of soils including poor, rocky and shallow.
Conditions: Full sun or part shade. It tolerates dry summers and urban environments and is coast, salt, drought and moderately frost resistant.
