Blue Rose Blueberry is an evergreen, dwarf variety that combines ornamental appeal with productive fruiting. In spring it produces delicate white to soft pink bell-shaped flowers, which develop into delicious blue berries during summer. Vaccinium corymbosum Pink Icing™ Blueberry has breathtaking foliage colors and large, robust flavoured berries. Spring foliage has many shades of pink mixed with blue and deep greens, and turns a stunning iridescent turquoise blue in winter. Small, white, pendant, urn-shaped flowers bloom in loose clusters in late spring. The flowers are followed by plump, round blueberries which ripen in mid-summer. Plant this variety in decorative patio pots or in the landscape for year-round color and beauty. This plant sets fruit on the previous year’s canes and will produce new canes each year. Each year, prune only the canes that produced fruit for that year.

Soil: Well-drained fertile soil. If your soil is heavy or prone to poor drainage, consider planting in raised beds or mounds to ensure good water flow around the roots

The Blueberry Ash is an Australian native found naturally along the Eastern coast of Australia. It has spectacular foliage beginning reddish-pink when young, turning a bright, vivid green when mature and returning to a deep red upon aging. The Blueberry Ash produces fragrant white to pink feathery flowers with fringed edges that hang like tiny lampshades during spring and summer. The ornamental display continues with the appearance of dark blue berries from which the native tree gets its name. This hardy tree is ideal as a specimen tree, informal hedge and, with pruning, can be kept as a large shrub.

Soil: Suits most soil types but must be moist and well-drained.
Conditions: Suits full sun to heavy shade. It is adaptable to many climate zones provided water is available. Moderate frost tolerance.

Sunshine Blue is a semi-dwarf, self-fertile blueberry plant that is perfect for anyone looking for a versatile plant that produces delicious berries. This plant is known for its showy hot pink flowers that fade to white in spring, and it yields a large crop of medium-sized, sweet, and dark blue berries. Sunshine Blue fruits from December to January, while its flowers bloom from October to November. This plant is a great addition to patios and gardens in cooler areas. Apply a complete fertiliser in spring.

Soil: Prefers an acidic soil with a pH of 4.5-5.5. Before planting, improve the soil by adding decomposed manure and compost. This is especially important in clay soils, as blueberries prefer a free-draining soil high in organic matter.
Conditions: Sunny position that is protected from wind. It requires 150 hours of winter chill, making it an ideal choice for the subtropics.

Raspberry Ripple is a small evergreen native shrub with soft, needle-like foliage. The shrub produces a spectacular mass display of varicoloured spider flowers of raspberry pink and white from autumn to early spring. Dense in habit, Raspberry Ripple is a great native bird and bee attractor and is excellent for use in rockeries. It is a useful shrub where areas require low-level cover.

Prune lightly as necessary to maintain its shape, and occasionally use a slow-release native fertilizer for optimal growth.

Caroline Blueberry is a Northern Highbush Blueberry - a deciduous, fruiting plant that is native to the colder areas of Canada & the United States. These varieties of blueberry plants perform well in Australia and provide a bounty of berries. Caroline is an early fruiting blueberry producing medium-sized, fragrant fruits with a beautiful sweet taste. It is a deciduous shrub with oval leaves, producing pretty bell-shaped white flowers in spring, followed by small blue-purple berries in summer. The leaves of Caroline take on attractive red-orange tones in autumn. Self-pollinating, but cross-pollination with another type with the same bloom time produces higher yields. Blueberries can produce an abundance of fruit over many months, keep them evenly watered with good drainage and use a low nitrogen fertiliser.

Conditions: It grows best in a sunny but protected position with some shade from the hottest afternoon sun during summer. Approximately 750-1200 hours chilling required for proper dormancy.
