Rosemary Chef's Choice is an outstanding rosemary specially selected for its higher oil content and spicy flavour. It is an attractive semi-prostrate shrub with fragrant blue flowers in winter and spring. Chef's Choice is great for decorative pots within your outdoor entertaining area, hedges and screens.

A dwarf Imperial Mandarin is a robust tree that gives a vigorous amount of mandarins that ripen from June onwards. It produces fragrant creamy-white flowers followed by medium-sized orange fruit. The skin is easy to peel, and the flesh is very juicy and delightfully strong-scented. The dwarf variety is ideal to grow in tubs, espaliered, courtyards or balcony areas if placed in a warm sunny position.

Pomegranate Wonderful is a popular fruiting tree prized for its vibrant flowers, ornamental appeal, and large, flavourful fruit. In spring, the tree produces striking red blooms that contrast beautifully with its glossy green foliage. These flowers develop into large, round pomegranates with a deep crimson skin and juicy ruby-red seeds. The fruit has a rich colour and a pleasantly tangy, refreshing flavour. It can be enjoyed fresh, juiced, or added to salads, desserts, and sauces. Compared with some varieties, the seeds are less woody, making them easier and more enjoyable to eat. This variety is self-fertile, so a single tree will produce fruit without needing another plant for pollination. Regular watering while the fruit is forming helps improve fruit quality and encourages a better crop. Once established, the tree is relatively hardy and makes both a productive and attractive addition to edible gardens.

Soil: Plant in a free-draining soil as trees dislike waterlogging. 
Conditions: Pomegranates grow well in areas with cold winters and hot, dry summers. Drought tolerant once established, pomegranates will also tolerate coastal conditions and frost.

Also known as Midgen Berry or Sand Berry, Austromyrtus dulcis Midyim Berry is one of the most delicious native bush tucker plants—often compared to the blueberry for its sweet, tangy flavour and speckled appearance. Small, starry white flowers appear in early summer, followed by masses of white berries dotted with purple specks from late summer into early autumn. The berries can be enjoyed fresh, or used in pies, jams, and preserves. Midyim Berry forms a dense evergreen shrub with new bronze to burgundy foliage maturing to rich green. It grows up to 2 m high but can easily be kept smaller, making it ideal for home gardens, edible hedges, and narrow borders. Hardy and low-maintenance, it is rarely troubled by pests or diseases, performing well in full sun to part shade.

Prostanthera incisa, or Native Thyme or Cut Leaf Mint Bush, is a highly ornamental shrub with an openly branching habit that stands strong and erect. Its branches are dense and hairy with slightly oval leaves with rounded tips. This overlooked but beautifully ornamental shrub is considered to be our own native Australian thyme. With an enticing aroma likened to rosemary, lemon, mint and pepper, Native Thyme is a ‘bouquet garni’ of all your favourite herbs in one plant. Ideal for edible hedges or container gardens. It has historically, and remains, an iconic part of bush tucker planting.

Vaccinium corymbosum Pink Icing™ Blueberry has breathtaking foliage colors and large, robust flavoured berries. Spring foliage has many shades of pink mixed with blue and deep greens, and turns a stunning iridescent turquoise blue in winter. Small, white, pendant, urn-shaped flowers bloom in loose clusters in late spring. The flowers are followed by plump, round blueberries which ripen in mid-summer. Plant this variety in decorative patio pots or in the landscape for year-round color and beauty. This plant sets fruit on the previous year’s canes and will produce new canes each year. Each year, prune only the canes that produced fruit for that year.

Rubus fruticosus Thornless Blackberry is a gardener’s delight — vigorous, productive, and easy to harvest without the worry of sharp spines. Soil: Well-drained fertile soil. If your soil is heavy or prone to poor drainage, consider planting in raised beds or mounds to ensure good water flow around the roots
Conditions: Full sun. While they are hardy in most climates, you may need to protect them from harsh winter winds in colder areas by mulching heavily or using row covers during the coldest months.
