Delivery Policy

Effective Date: 21 September 2026

Mountain View Nursery delivers plants throughout selected regions of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory via scheduled delivery runs.

Delivery eligibility is determined by our Delivery Areas map. If your address falls within a zone listed on our interactive map, you are eligible for delivery.

Delivery Areas, Fees & Minimum Orders

Delivery fees, minimum order values and scheduled delivery days vary depending on your location.

Town names and postcodes listed on that page are provided as a guide only. Our delivery zone map determines whether your address is eligible for delivery.

If you are unable to complete checkout, your order may not currently meet the minimum order requirement for your delivery zone.

When Will My Order Arrive?

Many orders are prepared sooner, but some plants are sourced especially for your order from our network of growers.

Please allow up to twenty-eight (28) calendar days from the date of order for your plants to be sourced and prepared for collection or delivery.

Longer preparation times are more common during:

  • spring and other peak seasonal periods;

  • major promotions;

  • high-demand periods;

  • orders containing supplier-sourced plants;

  • bulk or landscaping orders;

  • tube stock or young plants;

  • rare or seasonal varieties; and

  • Special Orders.

Supplier, growing, freight or seasonal delays may occasionally extend this timeframe. If a material delay affects your order, we will make reasonable efforts to keep you updated.

Where an order contains multiple items, we may wait until all items have arrived before scheduling delivery unless another arrangement has been agreed.

Delivery Schedules

Once your order is ready, it will be scheduled for the next suitable delivery run for your area.

Scheduled delivery days do not indicate how soon after ordering your plants will arrive. Order sourcing and preparation occurs first, followed by delivery according to your area's scheduled run.

Delivery dates and timeframes are estimates unless we expressly confirm a particular date in writing as guaranteed.

Delivery schedules may occasionally change due to weather, public holidays, road conditions, vehicle maintenance, driver availability, supplier delays or other operational circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Need Your Plants by a Certain Date?

If your order is required for a landscaping project, scheduled planting, event or another specific date, please contact us before placing your order.

We’ll let you know whether your preferred timeframe is achievable.

We recommend waiting until your plants have arrived before confirming landscapers or planting works, unless a delivery date has been expressly confirmed with our team.

Delivery Instructions

To help us complete your delivery safely and smoothly, please provide:

  • accurate delivery details;

  • a valid contact phone number;

  • clear delivery instructions; and

  • any information our driver should know about access to your property.

Please let us know about gates, steep or narrow driveways, difficult access, pets or other circumstances that may affect delivery.

Additional charges may apply if delivery cannot be completed because of incorrect information, restricted or unsafe access, or where redelivery is required.

Do I Need to Be Home?

You do not necessarily need to be home for delivery, provided our driver has clear instructions and safe access to an appropriate place to leave your plants.

If there are specific requirements for your delivery, please include them with your order or contact our team beforehand.
