Crepe Myrtle

Natchez Crepe Myrtle is an ornamental, multi-stemmed tree with a broad spreading crown. In summer, clusters of incredible white, crepe-paper-like flowers are produced in abundance. The dark green leaves add to the visual feast as they transition into autumn, turning a rich bronzy-red colour before falling. The crepe myrtle tree brings colour, contrast and depth to the garden as the bark also provides colour as the tree matures, with its flakiness revealing the rich, brown underbark. Plant as a stand-alone specimen or as a feature en masse against a boundary line, fence or driveway.

Lagerstroemia Tuscarora is a stunning deciduous tree that delivers serious wow-factor. The dwarf Crepe Myrtle Enduring Summer Red is one of the first crepe myrtles to bloom every summer with its intense big blooms of deep red flowers. Lagerstroemia Acoma is a magnificent deciduous tree that makes a showy appearance every year. Luminous, pure white flowers with prominent gold anthers borne in long panicles flower from summer to autumn. The bright green summer foliage develops exquisite orange-red colouring in autumn. Smooth, mottled, light cinnamon brown bark adds year-round interest. Wonderful for use as a large shrub to accent the landscape or as a specimen or street tree. Pruning in winter will encourage the production of larger flower heads the following summer.

Lagerstroemia indica Sioux Crepe Myrtle is a showy, beautifully-shaped tree with masses of musk-pink flowers in summer, highly ornamental bark and brilliant autumn colour.
