Citrus junos Yuzu is a small, yellow citrus fruit native to Asia -it resembles a small lemon or a yellow clementine and features uneven, bumpy skin that sets it apart from other fruits. Growing on a small, upright shrub/tree the leaves are evergreen and create a lush appearance, while the branches have sharp thorns that you’ll need to look out for! The taste of the Yuzu is quite unique - best described as a combination of lemon and mandarin orange, with a dash of lime and grapefruit. It is rarely eaten as a fresh fruit but is renowned for its juice and zest, which impart a unique and refreshing touch and complement a range of flavours. The Tahitian Lime is a popular small-spreading, evergreen tree with glossy leaves, some thorns, and fragrant creamy-white blossoms. The blossoms are followed by medium-sized, round green fruit with a thin skin and juicy, almost seedless acidic flesh. Fruit production is at its peak in late autumn to early winter in cooler climates. Ideal as a feature tree in a pot for courtyards or decks, or in smaller, Mediterranean-style gardens.
Soil: Soil needs to be well-watered, well-drained, and slightly acidic with no root competition. After planting your tree into the ground, we recommend reducing the foliage by a third.

Old Man Saltbush is a fast-growing shrub commonly used today as a livestock grazing plant. However, both the seeds and leaves are viable bush tucker, with the leaves salty in flavour and rich in protein, antioxidants and minerals. The leaves are an attractive silvery grey and tiny pale flowers appear throughout the year. Old Man Saltbush leaves may be treated like a leafy vegetable, enjoyed blanched, sautéed, wrapped around meat or fish, used in salads, or for stuffing poultry. Alternatively, they may be dried and used as a herb or sprinkle. It may be grown in the ground or kept smaller in pots, if harvested frequently. With regular pruning, it makes a great gap filler or edible hedge.
