An absolute ripper of a shrub, Leptospermum Piccolo is an extremely hardy Australian native. This colourful and compact shrub is a great addition to courtyards and small gardens as it is positively smothered in crimson-coloured flowers during spring. The blooms attract a wide variety of native insects, which in turn, attract native birds and other wildlife. Light pruning will keep it compact and increase the flower display, and feed with a slow-release native fertiliser in spring or late summer. As with most tea trees, Piccolo is a terrific fast-growing screening plant with its naturally dense growth habit.

Landscape Gold is a hardy and adaptable kangaroo paw from the Tall & Tough series, prized for its vibrant yellow to golden flower spikes and reliable garden performance. It flourishes in a wide range of soil types as long as drainage is good, making it an excellent choice for diverse garden settings across Australia. The luminous blooms are highly attractive to nectar-feeding birds and beneficial insects, adding movement and life to the landscape throughout its extended flowering season. During the flowering period, it responds well to applications of a low-phosphorus native fertiliser and benefits from occasional watering during extended dry spells to maintain strong, consistent blooming. Maintenance is minimal, requiring only an annual trim after flowering to encourage fresh new growth and repeat performance.
