An absolute ripper of a shrub, Leptospermum Piccolo is an extremely hardy Australian native. This colourful and compact shrub is a great addition to courtyards and small gardens as it is positively smothered in crimson-coloured flowers during spring. The blooms attract a wide variety of native insects, which in turn, attract native birds and other wildlife. Light pruning will keep it compact and increase the flower display, and feed with a slow-release native fertiliser in spring or late summer. As with most Tea Trees, Piccolo is a terrific fast-growing screening plant with its naturally dense growth habit.

Grevillea Dorothy Gordon is a magnificent evergreen shrub with bold, two-toned purple-burgundy-pink flowers. Displaying green-grey ferny foliage with bronze-coloured new growth tips, Dorothy Gordon has flushes of flowers throughout the year and is a magnet to honey-eating birds and mammals. Dorothy Gordon is a hybrid of WA and QLD parent plants, and it has a dense growth habit, which makes it ideal as a standalone shrub or informal hedge or screen. Feed with a good native fertiliser in spring.

Anigozanthos Celebrations Masquerade is another exciting new kangaroo paw from the Kings Park 'Bush Gems' range. Masquerade is a spectacular kangaroo paw that produces breathtaking teal and purple flowers that contrast beautifully against striking blue-green strappy foliage. Telopea Braidwood Brilliant is a compact, dense Waratah known for its striking deep red flowers that bloom in the spring. Developed at the Australian National Botanic Gardens in Canberra, this variety was selected for its hardiness and vibrant flower color. Ideal for home gardens and cut flower growers, Braidwood Brilliant is a robust shrub with broad, deep green foliage and medium-sized flat flower heads. It serves as an excellent feature shrub for general garden beds or rockeries and thrives in large containers. The stunning blooms make for beautiful cut flowers, and pruning for floral arrangements helps maintain the plant's shape.

Banksia ericifolia Red Rover has stunning, deep red-terracotta cylindrical flowers up to 25cm long! It has an open habit with fine, heathery, pale green small leaves providing a colourful contrast to the show-stopping flowers. This adaptable banksia forms an excellent screen plant and is adored by native birds and bees. The seed pods are decorative as are the flowers.
