An absolute ripper of a shrub, Leptospermum Piccolo is an extremely hardy Australian native. This colourful and compact shrub is a great addition to courtyards and small gardens as it is positively smothered in crimson-coloured flowers during spring. The blooms attract a wide variety of native insects, which in turn, attract native birds and other wildlife. Light pruning will keep it compact and increase the flower display, and feed with a slow-release native fertiliser in spring or late summer. Grevillea Dorothy Gordon is a magnificent evergreen shrub with bold, two-toned purple-burgundy-pink flowers.
