Banksia ericifolia Red Rover has stunning, deep red-terracotta cylindrical flowers up to 25cm long! It has an open habit with fine, heathery, pale green small leaves providing a colourful contrast to the show-stopping flowers. This adaptable banksia forms an excellent screen plant and is adored by native birds and bees. The seed pods are decorative as are the flowers. Feed with a slow-release native fertiliser during spring.

Soil: Plant in well-drained soil with neutral to acid pH.
Conditions: Full sun to semi-shade. Salt, frost, drought, humid and coastal tolerant.

Grevillea Panrock Princess is a stunning plant known for its striking hot pink/red flowers, which adorn upright branches throughout much of the year. These blossoms are a magnet for honey-eating birds and can be harvested as beautiful cut flowers when still in bud stage. Panrock Princess maintains a naturally compact form but responds well to light autumn pruning and the removal of old flower stems. Its versatility extends from serving as an effective screening plant to dazzling mass planting.

Callistemon Purple Cloud is a beautifully shaped native with vibrant purple bottlebrush flowers from spring to summer. The flowers provide valuable food for birds, insects and small mammals. Purple Cloud can be pruned to encourage a smaller growth habit but will make a graceful weeping shape if left to grow as a small tree. Excellent as a narrow screen or small hedge due to its naturally compact growth habit.

A stunning compact waratah, Shady Lady shows off spectacular clear white blooms on a beautiful low-growing dense shrub. Echium candicans is truly a show-stopper! The hardy, fast-growing shrub displays large spires of electric blue flower heads which tower above its silver, sage-green foliage through spring and summer. Callistemon Injune Pink is a pretty native shrub producing an abundance of beautiful candy-pink flowers with contrasting new silvery leaf growth. It blooms in spring and often again in summer or autumn, with the flowers aging to cream. Like all callistemon, Injune Pink attracts birds, bees and butterflies to the garden. It can be pruned to encourage a smaller growth habit but will make a graceful weeping shape if left to grow as a small tree.

Silver Sheen is a large hardy, fast-growing evergreen shrub with magnificent silvery-green foliage set against almost black stems. Its primary use is for hedging and windbreaks and can be clipped tight and narrow for formal gardens or given a lighter prune for a softer effect.

Conditions: Prefers full sun or part shade, is drought hardy and tolerates moderate frost.
