Soil: Plant in a free-draining soil that is medium to acidic pH, rich in organic matter.  A potting mix rich in humus is ideal, added at the time of planting. It is recommended to create a mound to plant High Fragrance if your garden has clay soils.
Conditions: Sunny or partly shaded position with morning or afternoon sun. It can be grown throughout Australia and is tolerant of both heat and light frost, but may need protection in extreme situations, especially when young. Shelter from strong winds.

Acacia iteaphylla, or Flinders Range Wattle, is a hardy ornamental shrub recommended for its form and foliage.
