
Charles Joly Lilac is a gorgeous upright deciduous shrub flowering in early spring with highly fragrant, deep reddish-purple, double flower clusters, with curling petals of a paler mauve. The green heart-shaped leaves, along with the blooms, have a long vase life. Prune after flowering. Charles Joly is suited to use in small gardens and parks for shrub borders or as a screening plant.
