Leptospermum spp. Burgundy

Leptospermum morrisonii Burgundy is a tall shrub with striking burgundy coloured new growth and masses of white flowers in summer. The branches gently weep which adds to the appeal of this marvellous tea tree. Burgundy is best utilised as a fast growing screen or hedge, or as a mass planting for the contrast effect in the garden. The bold coloured leaves are popular for cut foliage in flower arrangements.

Soil: Moist, well-drained soil.
Conditions: Sunny position. Drought, frost and coastal hardy.
