A tough ground-covering plant, this plant is spectacular when in flower, with many rich purple sprays of pea-shaped blossoms. It blooms from spring through summer, and the plant fixes nitrogen from the air, which is good for the soil. Its dense habit smothers weeds once established, making it good for home gardens and larger landscapes, as well as understory planting. This plant produces colour & nectar over the cooler months for pollinators.
Soil: Adaptable to most soil types.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Once this plant is established it will tolerate dry and light frost conditions, but over long periods of dry will require watering.
