Dracaena draco - The Dragon Tree - is a sub-tropical plant native to the Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Madeira and Western Morocco. It is truly a marvel to behold with its tall, clear trunks topped with shaggy, rounded heads of long, sword-shaped leaves. Its beautiful white spring flowers have a strong, sweet fragrance which adds to its appeal. The stiff green foliage add wonderful elements of sound, movement and texture to the garden. The Dragon Tree makes an excellent alternative to Palm Trees.
