Campanula poscharskyana Blue is a very useful groundcovering variety forming strong colonies in even the most difficult dry areas. Making a carpet of round, dark green, heart-shaped leaves, the star-shaped flowers, a clear blue, appear very early in the season. When, after a few months, this first flush of blooms is spent the plant can be cut back hard. It will repay this effort with another display. Campanula poscharskyana Blue likes to hang onto or over low walls or rockeries.
