Acacia guinetii, or Guinet's Wattle, is an attractive, low-growing native shrub with dense foliage and a spreading habit. The native is beautified with masses of fluffy, bright yellow ball flowers from winter to spring. The winter-flowering acacia is particularly attractive in the landscape, where the bright yellow flowers bring colour to the garden at a time when many of the more traditionally grown plants are bare or not flowering. Plant the hardy acacia in rockeries, native gardens and mass planting.
