Cyathea cooperii Australian Tree Fern

The Australian Tree Fern is a gloriously tall, fast-growing fern with elegant lacy green fronds which may reach over 4m in length. It is particularly suited for adding a rainforest feel to the garden: as either a singular plant or planted in a cluster. This is an excellent plant to grow in a shaded courtyard, between buildings, or under larger trees near the drip line where it gets good moisture and afternoon shade.

Soil: Moist, organic-rich soils.
Conditions: Grows best in full shade. Avoid hot, dry, windy locations.
