Eucalyptus cinerea Silver Dollar or Argyle Apple Eucalyptus tree is a small to medium-sized tree which has round, fragrant silver-blue foliage hence the name. The bark is reddish brown on smaller stems and becomes grey and stringy on the trunk as the tree matures. Queensland Bottle Tree is a magnificent, eye-catching feature tree that gets its name from the bottle-shaped swelling in the trunk. The unusual feature develops as it ages, typically starting between 5-8 years old. The swelling is used for water storage. The bell-shaped, yellow flowers form between October and December in clusters at the end of the branches and are surrounded by deep green foliage. Bottle trees are semi-deciduous, exceptionally hardy, and can withstand temperatures in a wide range from -8C to 50C.

The Bush Dance kangaroo paw looks sensational with its colour blend of bright red and shimmering emerald green flowers on slim red stems. Acacia baileyana Purpurea is a purple leaf form of the common Cootamundra Wattle. It is a bushy shrub or small tree growing 3-10 meters high. It is easily identified by its new foliage which is a striking purple colour, as well as the iconic golden pom pom flowers. The tree produces profuse sprays of these small globular flowers in late winter to early spring providing a striking contrast against the backdrop of the striking purple and silver-blue foliage. The wattle is ideal as a stand-alone feature, or as a paddock tree.
