White Anzac is an exciting, low-growing native shrub that bursts into life with masses of crisp white bottlebrush flowers, often in clusters of three, from late spring through summer. Melia azedarach White Cedar is a fast-growing tree with an attractive, densely foliaged, rounded crown. Native to north-eastern Australia, it is one of the few deciduous Australian natives. Glossy new foliage emerges in spring, accompanied by clusters of showy, fragrant lilac flowers. These are followed by hard, yellow-orange, bead-like fruits that persist on the tree well into autumn. While the fruit is poisonous to humans and some animals, it provides an important food source for birdlife. White Cedar makes an excellent specimen tree and is ideal for use as a shade or avenue tree in larger landscapes.

Soil: The White Cedar will grow in most soil types but does prefer well-drained soil.
Conditions: Full sun or part-shade. They are drought tolerant, able to cope with frost (to -8C) and can grow on the coast making them very durable and versatile

Each flower head is densely packed with small flowers, with long styles that bend over like hairpins before straightening out. With its naturally compact growing habit, Raspberry Dream is ideal for borders along paths, fence lines, driveways, and beds. Prune lightly as necessary to maintain its shape, and occasionally use a slow-release native fertilizer for optimal growth.
