Big, bold, and reminiscent of summer, Paradise Blush brings colour, warmth and texture to the winter garden. Masses of deep pink buds open to medium-sized, semi-double, white blooms with pink edges are displayed on an evergreen shrub from late autumn through the cooler months. Paradise Blush is perfect for screens, hedges, espaliers and large pots.

Soil: Slightly acidic, humus-rich, well-drained soil.
Conditions: Sunny and semi-shaded positions. Paradise camellias will grow Australia-wide, they are tolerant of light frosts and heat. May need some protection in extreme conditions.

Correa alba PBR Coastal Pink is a native flowering shrub forming a nice rounded mound with attractive blue-green foliage. Delicate pink, bell-shaped flowers appear in profusion from autumn to spring with spot-flowering all year round. It has a strong growth habit that landscapers will love, along with its ability to work in coastal situations. Coastal Pink is a very hardy specimen and ideal as a low-growing border plant or hedge. A light trim, once flowering has finished, will help give the plant shape and encourage density. Follow with an application of a native slow-release fertiliser.

Westringia Mighty Bloom is a compact, hardy native shrub prized for its exceptionally large mauve flowers, which are almost twice the size of typical westringia blooms. Flowering from late winter through to late summer, the masses of soft mauve flowers with distinctive pink spotting contrast beautifully against dense olive-green foliage, creating a long-lasting display of colour. This versatile evergreen shrub is ideal for low hedging, screening, topiary work, coastal gardens, native landscapes, and container planting. Mighty Bloom responds well to pruning and can be lightly trimmed as needed to maintain shape and encourage dense growth. Apply a slow-release native fertiliser in spring to support healthy foliage and prolific flowering.

Also known as Eriostemon, or simply Wax Flower, Philotheca Flower Girl is an attractive small compact shrub. It has highly scented foliage and long-lasting, dainty pink-tinged, white star-shaped flowers in late winter to spring. Flower Girl has a naturally bushy habit making it ideal for hedges and borders, and regular pruning will result in more compact growth and even more flowers. The flowers are long-lasting as cut flowers to decorate the home with their colour and fragrance.

Soil: Well-drained, humus-rich soil. A little mulch around the base of the plant will keep the root system cool as well as suppress weeds.

Phylica Hydra is a striking evergreen shrub admired for its soft, feathery foliage in shades of lime green, silver-grey and blue-green, creating a light and airy texture in the garden year-round. From late winter through spring, elegant silver-cream flower bracts appear along the stems, adding further interest and making it highly sought after for floral work and dried arrangements. This hardy, low-maintenance shrub performs beautifully in a range of garden styles including coastal gardens, native-inspired landscapes, rockeries, borders and decorative pots. Its naturally dense habit also makes it suitable for informal low hedging or mass plantings where texture and softness are desired. The long-lasting stems retain their colour and form for many weeks, making them exceptional for fresh or dried cut flower displays.

Correa glabra has dense, small-leaf, green foliage and produces a variety of colours when flowering: white, green-white or pink and white bi-colour. The bell-shaped flowers appear throughout autumn and winter attracting birds and insects. Its upright, spreading habit makes it a popular choice for use as a low hedge and looks fantastic as an informal border or planted under trees that provide dappled sunlight.
