Released and named for the International Year of the Volunteer, Camellia Volunteer is a compact, evergreen shrub with eye-catching flowers during autumn and winter. The blooms of this japonica camellia are absolutely stuffed with petals! Gorgeous pink upon opening and darkening to red-pink over time, the petal edges are lighter in colour. Volunteer is an excellent plant for container growing and would make a wonderful mid-sized hedge.

Callistemon Burgundy is a big bold shrub that produces pink new growth and maroon to dark purple bottlebrush flowers from late spring to early autumn. The callistemon is fast-growing, hardy, and great for attracting wildlife. Ideal for use as a specimen tree, hedge or as a stand-alone addition to add colour or contrast to the garden. Prune Burgundy after flowering and feed with a native fertiliser.

Leucospermum So Successful is a medium, evergreen shrub with small, coarse, foliage coloured a lovely mid-green. In spring, a mass profusion of large bright orange pin-cushion flowers appear to delight the senses. The flowers are popular in floral arrangements as they hold their colour for long periods. The blooms are popular with birds and bees. The Protea family are low maintenance and are equally at home in display pots or garden beds, as a feature plant, mass planting, or borders/hedges. Be sure to use a native soil mix when planting as exotic potting mix/fertiliser will kill them.
