Raspberry Dream - bred by Kings Park and Botanic Garden - is an exceptional performer that produces vivid red-pink flowers all year round. Each flower head is densely packed with small flowers, with long styles that bend over like hairpins before straightening out. With its naturally compact growing habit, Raspberry Dream is ideal for borders along paths, fence lines, driveways, and beds. Prune lightly as necessary to maintain its shape, and occasionally use a slow-release native fertilizer for optimal growth.

Proteas are one of Nature’s true marvels of creative floral masterpieces! How can you not love elegant, colourful, feathery flowers? Pink Ice is a medium-sized evergreen shrub with an amazing autumn-winter display of soft, dusky-pink flowers, that look spectacular on the shrub or as a cut flower. It is renowned for being the hardiest of all the proteas. Sensational as a stand-alone specimen in the garden.

Soil: Well-drained soil. If you don't have well-drained soil, create a mound to facilitate planting.

Gardenia augusta Florida is undoubtedly the most popular of the gardenia varieties. A classic, glossy, evergreen shrub with rich green foliage and intensely fragrant, brilliant white flowers. Flowers appear in late spring and are perfect to bring inside to perfume the home. Ideal for hedges, massed planting or as a single specimen. Prune after flowering.

Conditions: Sunny, sheltered position is ideal in the warmer parts of Australia. Shelter from strong winds and exposed sites.

Coastal Dawn Grevillea is a vigorous shrub with deeply divided, soft grey-green foliage and a profusion of pink and orange flowers that bloom prolifically through summer, and intermittently year-round. Like other grevilleas, Coastal Dawn is a great choice of plant as a screen or informal flowering hedge, and will attract birds and bees to your garden to feed on the nectar. Trim back after flowering as the heads can be messy.

Soil: Well-drained, slightly acid soils with lots of leaf matter and mulch around roots.

Gaura Lillipop Blush PBR is a bushy, hardy perennial shrub with long graceful stems that bloom with blush pink flowers in spring-summer. The stems are coloured a deep burgundy- providing a deep contrast against the bright green foliage. The flowers sway gracefully in the breeze hence the popular name Butterfly Bush which perfectly describes the plant resembles a fluttering cloud of pale pink butterflies. Plant Lollipop Blush as a mass planting, or as a colourful border/hedge.

Soil: Keep moist until established, mulching at planting time is beneficial.

Murraya paniculata Min A Min, commonly known as Orange Jessamine or Dwarf Mock Orange, is a compact evergreen shrub. It has dense, shiny green foliage and fragrant, creamy white flowers in tight clusters with a strong, orange blossom scent. The blooms turn into small, oval, red berry fruit. Min-A-Min responds well to shaping, making it an excellent choice for small hedges or topiary. It also grows well in containers. Light pruning after flowering may encourage a second bloom in warmer months.

Soil: It tolerates a wide range of soils.
Conditions: Full sun to partial shade. Prefers a warm, temperate to tropical climate. Drought, coastal and frost tolerant when established.

Living up to its name, Mighty Bloom differs to other Westringias as it creates blooms almost twice the size to other varieties. Mighty Bloom displays an abundance of mauve flowers with pink dots from late winter to late summer against olive green foliage. This hardy, compact variety is great for hedging, screening, topiary, coastal gardens, native gardens, pots and containers. Prune to shape as needed, fertilise with native slow-release fertilise in spring.

Old Man Saltbush is a fast-growing shrub commonly used today as a livestock grazing plant. However, both the seeds and leaves are viable bush tucker, with the leaves salty in flavour and rich in protein, antioxidants and minerals. The leaves are an attractive silvery grey and tiny pale flowers appear throughout the year. Old Man Saltbush leaves may be treated like a leafy vegetable, enjoyed blanched, sautéed, wrapped around meat or fish, used in salads, or for stuffing poultry. Alternatively, they may be dried and used as a herb or sprinkle. It may be grown in the ground or kept smaller in pots, if harvested frequently. With regular pruning, it makes a great gap filler or edible hedge.

Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Drought, salt, windy and coastal tolerant. Frost tender.
