Syzygium australe is a very well-known bush tucker plant, producing plump little pink edible fruits that have been considered excellent native food for generations. Known as Creek Lilly Pilly, Brush Cherry, and Scrub Cherry, the Syzygium australe presents a dense growth habit, lush dark-green foliage and bright new growth that produces beautiful white clustering flowers. This specific variety of Lilly Pilly is widely cultivated for its excellent hedging abilities as it is an attractive, easy-going tropical tree.

Pittosporum eugeniodies Variegated Lemonwood is a beautiful variegated shrub-like evergreen tree that is native to New Zealand. The exotic tree is loved by many for its attractive unique foliage of large green leaves, variegated with a light silvery colour on the border of each leaf. Cream-coloured, honey-scented flowers appear in spring and summer, drawing the bees and birds to the garden. It naturally grows into an upright oval-shaped tree, but can be pruned into any shape.

Elaeocarpus reticulatus Green Dream is a small native tree or hedging plant, with slender, tapering, green leaves and dense foliage. Producing masses of dainty pale pink and white flowers, followed by bright bird-attracting, shiny, blue fruit, the native shrub brings colour and shape to the garden. Green Dream is ideal for hedges, screening and windbreak plants due to its dense foliage and structure. Useful as avenue planting, as a feature plant or in a large pot. Fertilise with a slow-release native fertiliser during spring.

The Camellia sasanqua Jennifer Susan is a joy to behold with its display of double soft musk pink flowers - complete with wavy petals - from winter to spring. It is a hardy, long-living shrub with rich dense foliage that can grow into a small tree. It looks great in a feature pot and makes a wonderful hedge or espalier against a wall. Westringia fruticosa's attractive ornamental shrub features dense, fine grey-green foliage with masses of delicate white to pale lilac flowers, spotted with purply specks. An excellent all-round evergreen native, fruticosa will attract local wildlife like birds, bees, butterflies and other insects so it is perfect for native gardens.
