Deau Flame is an adaptable and versatile grevillea that flowers year round with pendulous spidery red flowers that are bird-and-bee-attracting. It has a dense habit with soft small rounded copper-blush leaves. Pruning occasionally will help it to be even more compact. Plant as a screen, hedge, feature or in a container.

Soil: Tolerates poor soils. Use a low phosphorus native fertilizer.
Conditions: Full sun to partial sun.. Drought, salt, coastal and frost tolerant.

Dutch Box - Buxus Sempervirens Suffruticosa - is a small, slow-growing evergreen shrub which naturally forms a dense, compact round shape. The soft and lush foliage is lighter in colour and rounder in shape than the more common English Box. It is hardy, easy to grow and best suited to tight miniature hedges, edging, patio plants or topiaries. Excellent for pots and containers.

Soil: Any well-drained soil.
Conditions: Full sun to semi shade. Drought, frost and coastal tolerant.

Lavandula dentata- French Blue Lavender - is a compact, dense lavender shrub with beautifully aromatic grey-green foliage. Long-flowering lavender blue flowers are borne on spikes and appear in summer. The lavender is perfect as a low hedge, grown in pots, as a garden border and for essential oils.

Conditions: Full sun. Adaptable to most Australian climates.

The Japanese Larch is a majestic deciduous conifer with an open, graceful habit and naturally conical form. Its grey-green, softly cascading needles emerge with a subtle bluish tinge in spring and summer before turning a brilliant gold in autumn. The bark ranges from red-grey to brown and is deeply furrowed and scaly, adding year-round texture and character. A fast-growing species, Japanese Larch makes an impressive feature tree for large gardens, parks, and open landscapes. While too large for most suburban gardens when grown singly, it is surprisingly well-suited for hedging. When planted closely, its growth is naturally restricted—almost bonsai-like—allowing it to be clipped and maintained as an attractive, dense hedge of around 3 m.

Metrosideros excelsa Vibrance is a compact, upright cultivar of the New Zealand pōhutukawa, selected for its dense habit and brilliant floral display. It produces large, vibrant red flowers from early to mid-summer, attracting nectar-feeding birds and pollinators. The foliage is a striking green with silvery-grey undersides, creating a shimmering effect in sunlight. Vibrance is an excellent choice for hedging, borders, or as a specimen in smaller gardens. A superb option for suburban and coastal landscapes, as well as an attractive and hardy street tree.

Conditions: Full sun. Tough and versatile, it thrives in coastal and windy conditions, tolerates salt and dryness, and requires little maintenance once established.

These advanced English Buxus have been carefully trained into a perfect cone shape for you to strategically plant in your garden and continue to maintain with ease. English buxus is a dense-leaved evergreen shrub that is slow growing and shade tolerant and well suited to topiary. New growth can be clipped during the growing season to maintain the shape. It is also recommended to prune in late winter and late summer/early autumn with sharp secateurs or pruning shears.

Soil: Acid, alkaline or neutral. Moist but well-drained. Chalk, loam or sand. Use a good compost when potting on.
Conditions: Tolerant of shade and full sun. Water well during the spring and summer but sparingly in the winter. Apply dolomite lime and complete fertiliser in spring.

Pittosporum tenuifolium Golden Sheen is a fast-growing, attractive evergreen shrub which can grow up to 1m per year. Golden Sheen has small, bright yellow-green leaves with variegated white leaf margins resting upon almost black stems. Its compact growing habit makes it useful for both garden beds and a decorative subject in a patio pot or container. When planting in a hedge it is best to space them 1m apart.

Soil: It requires good drainage but grows well in most soils.
