The Lavender Queen is a compact evergreen Australian native that is fast growing and hardy. Arching branches with distinctive red stems filled with rounded green foliage weep to spectacular effect, while abundant lilac and pink toned flowers appear throughout spring. It is an ideal plant for informal hedging, coastal planting, screening/windbreaks or colour contrast for mixed beds. An occasional light pruning will ensure the growth habit stays dense, while the brighter the light the more stunning the colours of the attractive foliage will be.

Leighton Green is a vigorous fast-growing, evergreen conifer that develops into a dense, deep green, conical tree. Great for hedges, windbreaks, screens, or as a specimen tree, especially for exposed or coastal sites. The plant spacing dictates the height the conifer will grow. Plant trees one metre apart for hedges, two metres apart for windbreaks. All hedges do require 6-12 monthly trimming to look great and to maintain the required size/shape.

English Box (Buxus sempervirens) is an evergreen, hardy, small to medium size hedge. It is dense growing with small deep green foliage which makes pruning easy as the plant looks neat immediately afterwards. English Box is often used to create a formal garden, clipped to all shapes of topiaries and suitable for pots.The best height for English box is between 0.5m and 1 metre as the taller it grows it can lose its neat, dense shape. Fertilise during spring and prune as required to maintain form.

When pruning this wattle, take care to maintain its weeping habit.
