Grevillea Bedspread is a vigorous, fast-growing native groundcover that quickly forms a dense carpet of attractive foliage, making it ideal for covering embankments, slopes, driveways, and large garden areas. Its spreading habit cascades beautifully over retaining walls and garden edges while naturally suppressing weeds, creating a low-maintenance living mulch. The distinctive holly-like to oak-shaped green leaves are complemented by long, deep pink to red toothbrush flowers that appear throughout spring and autumn, attracting nectar-feeding birds and other beneficial wildlife. Feed with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser in spring to encourage healthy growth and prolific flowering.
Soil: Well-drained soil.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Drought, light frost and coastal tolerant.

Grevillea Bush Lemons is a large, warm-climate grevillea with an open, airy habit and beautifully fine, fern-like foliage. The new growth emerges in soft silvery tones, creating a lovely contrast against the mature leaves and those brilliantly bright yellow flowers. The blooms are big, bold and almost fluorescent in colour, flowering through much of the year and making this one of the brightest yellow grevilleas around. Fast growing and versatile, Bush Lemons can develop into a substantial shrub or even a small tree over time. Because of its height potential, it comfortably sits in both shrub and tree categories. With regular pruning, it can also be shaped into an impressively informal privacy screen, while left to grow naturally it forms a relaxed, open specimen perfect for larger spaces. It performs beautifully in erosion control plantings, coastal gardens, wildlife gardens and native landscapes.
Soil: Well-drained soil.
Conditions: Full sun. Coastal and heat tolerant. Frost tender.
Size: Height 3m x width 3m
Boongala Spinebill is a beautiful, spreading-to-weeping grevillea with long arching branches that really deserve to be on show.
The new growth comes through in lovely copper-red tones, and the foliage is something special — deeply toothed and finely cut, almost like a fern frond or fishbone. The leaves are dark pink-red to deep red, giving colour even when it’s not in full flower. It flowers for most of the year, with late spring through summer being the peak. The grey, softly hairy buds add extra contrast before opening to reveal rich pink to red blooms that birds absolutely love. For best colour and flowering, plant in full sun. It will handle dappled light, but it won’t colour up or flower nearly as well. Feed in spring and summer with a low-phosphorus native fertiliser and water it in well afterwards to prevent leaf burn. Perfect as a feature shrub where its graceful shape can really shine.
Soil: Can be grown on a sandy to clay soil, provided drainage is adequate.
Conditions: Full sun for best colour. Dappled shade. Drought, heat and frost tolerant.
Size: Height 2.5m x width 3m
Crimson Carpet is a low-growing hybrid grevillea selected for its striking bronze foliage, creating beautiful contrast in the landscape. A cross derived from Grevillea laurifolia Crimson Carpet forms a dense, spreading mat that works exceptionally well as a ground cover. Masses of rich crimson-red spider flowers appear from autumn through spring, bringing vibrant colour when many other plants are dormant. The nectar-rich blooms attract birds and other pollinators, making it a valuable addition to wildlife-friendly gardens. Crimson Carpet is ideal for rockeries, embankments, and planting along retaining walls where it can spill gently over edges to create attractive low-level coverage. Once established, it is a hardy, low-maintenance plant that benefits from light pruning after flowering to maintain a neat shape and encourage dense growth.
Soil: Well-drained soil.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Drought, light frost and coastal tolerant.
Size: Height 30cm x width 1-2m
