Grevillea Legacy Flame has been specially selected to commemorate the centenary of Legacy Australia in 2023, with a donation from every plant sold going towards the ongoing support of veterans’ families. This attractive and hardy native shrub forms a neat, low-mounding shape, making it ideal for small gardens and feature plantings. Its vivid flame-like orange to red flowers appear mainly through autumn and winter, creating a welcome burst of colour when many other plants are resting. When grown in containers, it can also flower at other times of the year. The sterile blooms are rich in nectar and highly attractive to birds, bringing movement and life into the garden. Compact and versatile, Grevillea Legacy Flame thrives in large pots, courtyard gardens and sunny borders.

Grevillea Poorinda Royal Mantle is a hardy, fast-growing ground cover that can also be grafted onto Grevillea robusta to create an attractive weeping standard. It features beautiful coppery-red new foliage and dark red toothbrush-style flowers borne on short terminal branchlets. The red styles are tipped with distinctive yellow stigmas, giving the blooms extra contrast. As a shrub, Royal Mantle forms a dense, low-growing, prostrate habit with mid-green leaves that vary in shape—some are lobed while others have smooth margins. In late winter and spring it produces clusters of deep red flowers that attract nectar-feeding birds to the garden.
Soil: Well-drained, acidic soil free of phosphorus.
Conditions: Full sun. Tolerant of frost, drought and snow.
