A weeping maple from Japan, Nishiki Fountain is quite unique in the maple world. It has a strong pendulous growth habit that will hit the ground and then trail along as a ground cover! Lavandula angustifolia Munstead is an heirloom dwarf variety of English Lavender introduced in 1916. Munstead produces masses of lilac-blue, fragrant lavender flower heads, and fine, grey-green foliage. Munstead lavender is attractive to bees and planting the lavender near a vegetable garden or citrus will assist with pollination and deter common pests. Being smaller makes this little treasure much more suitable for pot and container growing, squeezing into tighter spaces and in rockeries and small gardens.
