The Camellia Dream Girl produces a rich display of dense foliage and large, flat, light pink semi-double flowers with fluted, wavy petals. Knockout is a new variety of camellia that have been developed in Australia. They are as bold as the japonica and as tough as sasanqua with large, bright pink double flowers that bloom from early in the season in a prolific show. The perfect camellia option for a colourful feature or specimen tree in large pots or garden beds, Knock Out is also ideal as a flowering hedge. Prune lightly and fertilise in spring.

Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Can tolerate light frosts but may need protection in more extreme temperatures.

Radermachera sinica is also called the China Doll tree or Serpent tree. The broad-leaved evergreen tree - native to China and Taiwan - displays glossy dark green leaflets with a lacy appearance. In spring and summer an abundance of fragrant, trumpet-shaped, crinkly-petalled, white or yellow flowers appears, providing a glorious contrast to the dark foliage. The flowers are night-blooming and only last for one night, wilting in the morning sun. Dwarf variations are available and can be used as an indoor or patio plant, although indoor varieties rarely produce flowers.

Striking white flowers adorn Aloha White mandevilla - a gorgeous plant that can be trained to climb, trail or cascade. They like something to climb up like wire mesh fencing, arbors, trellises or pergolas. Mandevilla enjoy a feed now and again so use either a general purpose controlled release fertiliser in spring and autumn or one of the many liquid feeds. You’ll be rewarded with denser, healthier foliage and increased flowering response. Cut back to desired shape after flowering and they will even respond to a hard cut. Best to do that before winter at the end of their flowering season.
