The glorious Camellia japonica Emperor of Russia Variegated produces an unusual and distinctive display of bi-coloured flowers against deep green foliage. Soil: Plant in a free-draining soil that is medium to acidic pH, rich in organic matter.  A potting mix rich in humus is ideal, added at the time of planting. It is recommended to create a mound to plant High Fragrance if your garden has clay soils.
Conditions: Sunny or partly shaded position with morning or afternoon sun. It can be grown throughout Australia and is tolerant of both heat and light frost, but may need protection in extreme situations, especially when young. Shelter from strong winds.

Silver Anniversary azalea is a hardy, evergreen shrub producing masses of semi-double, light pink flowers which are gently shaded white towards the tips of the petals. Silver Anniversary is an abundant flowerer on a lovely evergreen shrub - sometimes you can't find the leaves there are so many blooms! It is a great choice for growing in a container, adding to a mixed planting, using in borders, planting around the base of larger trees, using in cottage gardens, or planting anywhere a stunning plant is required. Cluster planting is very trendy and affords a colourful display.

Conditions: Filtered sun to semi-shade. It is tolerant of frost and cool climates.

Azalea Candy Stripe has striking cream blooms laced with pink edges and stamens. It has a dense, compact, round form with a slow to moderate growth rate. Candy Stripe works well mass planted under trees or as a specimen plant, potted in courtyards, entertaining areas or to frame an entrance. Kurumes are often used in Japanese-style gardens where they are clipped into gorgeous flowering mounds. Prune after flowering to maintain a compact shape, mulch well during extended dry periods and fertilise with an azalea-specific or a complete organic fertiliser in spring and late summer.

Black English mulberry tree is a large spreading deciduous shade tree with an attractive form. Large quantities of good-sized, sweet, black mulberries are produced in late spring. When fully ripe, the fruit is very sweet and juicy with an unusual, slightly acidic taste. Annual pruning is required as fruit is produced on the new season’s growth. Self-pollinating.
Used in jams, fresh fruit, and also wines and juices.

Soil: Prefers deep, moist deep loam with adequate organic matter. Intolerant of dry, sandy soils.
Conditions: Full sun. This mulberry has a very low chill factor making it ideal for subtropical climates. Tolerant of moderate frosts.

Juniperus squamata ‘Blue Star’ is a dwarf evergreen shrub forming a globe-shaped mound. The dense silvery blue foliage changes with the seasons - transitioning to purplish-blue in winter, bringing a pop of colour in the colder months. Beautiful bun of stunning blue foliage. Popular as a rockery plant or tub specimen. It does have flaky brown bark which gives it one common name of ‘Flaky Juniper’.

Conditions: Full sun and can grow in hot/humid environments. Frost tolerant once established.
Soil: Grown in well-drained soil tolerating poor soil, dry soil, and sandy soil.
