Gardenia Magnifica is the tallest of the gardenias. It is an evergreen shrub with glossy, deep green leaves and highly fragrant, double, white or cream flowers that turn yellow as they age. Flowers are on display from summer through to winter. The gardenia likes humidity and can be grown in hothouses in colder climates. They grow best when the days are warm and the temperature cools at night. Keep up the water in hot dry spells, and cut off dead flower heads to promote bushy growth.
