Callistemon demesne Pink Alma is a compact native bottlebrush with an open and slightly weeping form. Unusual soft mid-pink flowers appear in spring and often flush again in autumn. Callistemon flowers provide valuable food for birds, insects and small mammals. Excellent as a narrow screen or small hedge due to its naturally compact growth habit.

Anigozanthos Regal Velvet is a hardy and eye-catching kangaroo paw variety valued for its dense foliage and striking flowers. The tall flower stems rise above the clump of green strap-like leaves, carrying unique blooms in a rich combination of pale green and deep ruby red. Flowering over an extended period, this Australian native adds vibrant colour and texture to gardens while attracting nectar-feeding birds, bees, and other beneficial pollinators. Regal Velvet is well suited to a wide range of garden styles, including native, coastal, and low-maintenance landscapes. Regular removal of spent flower stems will help maintain a tidy appearance and encourage further flowering.

Sagina subulata Aurea, also known as Golden Irish Moss, is a low-growing perennial ground cover that requires minimal maintenance. Its moss-like foliage is ideal for filling gaps between pavers, in rock gardens, or along a pathway. Though tiny, white flowers bloom in late spring to early summer, it's the golden green foliage that makes this ground cover stand out.

Soil: Best grown in a humus-rich, well-drained soil that retains some moisture.
Conditions: Best grown in dappled shade to full but not deep shade. Exposure to full sun especially afternoon sun will quickly scorch the foliage.

Melaleuca quinquenervia, commonly known as the Broad-leaved Paperbark, is a medium to tall tree admired for its thick, soft, papery bark in beautiful cream to warm brown tones. From spring through to autumn, it produces masses of white, bottlebrush-like flowers that stand out against the soft grey-green foliage, adding long-lasting seasonal interest. Fast growing and versatile, this species can be shaped into a single-trunked feature tree or allowed to develop into a broad, spreading form. The Broad-leaved Paperbark is an excellent choice for shade, screening, windbreaks, rural landscapes, large gardens, and park plantings, offering both ornamental beauty and practical value.

Lomandra Crackerjack is an evergreen native grass that has become an Australian garden favourite. Soft, fine leaves with blue-hued new growth form a weeping clump and delightful small yellow flowers make an appearance in spring, and last through summer. Perfect for landscaped gardens, borders, mass planting or as a feature plant in your backyard. The plant can be cut back every second or third year in spring, 10cm above the ground, to rejuvenate the foliage. Fertilise in spring with an Australian native fertiliser.

A narrow, erect conifer with lustrous, silvery-blue to green foliage, Skyrocket is quick-growing and very hardy. A great windbreak plant in both cold and hot climates. Plant Skyrocket in matched pairs or on four corners of a central courtyard. Great for small gardens and townhouses, as a specimen tree, in group planting, as a screen and in conifer gardens.

Eucalyptus Winter Lights is a graceful, dwarf native gum valued for its airy, light-filtering canopy and elegant form. Its long, slender, apple-green leaves create a soft, willowy appearance, while the smooth trunk adds year-round ornamental appeal. During summer and autumn, the foliage is covered with masses of fragrant, nectar-rich white flowers that attract honeyeaters, bees, and other pollinators, followed by small bright green gum nuts that add further seasonal interest. Winter Lights is an excellent choice for ornamental planting, wildlife gardens, screening, windbreaks, or as a feature shade tree. It also responds well to coppicing, allowing it to be maintained as a dense informal hedge if desired.

Arnold Blood Orange is a brilliant small, bushy, evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves. The fruit tree produces fragrant creamy-white flowers followed by a small to medium-sized round, blood-red fruit with dark-red pigmented flesh. The characteristic colour is developed best in cooler inland areas where the temperatures are cooler at night. Blood oranges have an unusual distinctly strawberry-like flavour with hints of a citrus tang. Perfect for desserts, juicing, preserves or on its own as a healthy snack. Ideal for planting in smaller gardens, espaliered along walls or as an ornamental in pots for decks or terraces.

Conditions: Full sun. To grow blood oranges successfully you will need a climate that allows for cold winters and hot dry summers, they do like cold nighttime temperatures as well. Protect from strong winds especially during flowering or while the fruit is forming.
