The Camellia sasanqua Jennifer Susan is a joy to behold with its display of double soft musk pink flowers - complete with wavy petals - from winter to spring. It is a hardy, long-living shrub with rich dense foliage that can grow into a small tree. It looks great in a feature pot and makes a wonderful hedge or espalier against a wall. Jennifer Susan is excellent as a specimen plant due to the abundance of large and showy flowers. Prune after flowering to promote dense growth and prolific flowering in the following season.

Soil: Well-drained, slightly acidic soil. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal when added at the time of planting.

Callistemon subulatus Brogo Overflow is a very attractive and compact shrub that hugs the ground displaying its beautiful, brilliant red bottlebrush blooms from late winter through summer. It grows well alongside pathways or as a low edge to shrubberies or borders and can also make an excellent large tub plant on patios. While it is naturally compact, pruning after flowering will encourage a neater plant.
