The Dwarf Kumquat is an ideal patio citrus with great foliage, compact habit and small, bright orange fruit through winter. A beautiful combination of sweet and bitter, Nagami can be eaten whole off the tree. The rind is smooth and sweet - eat the fruit whole or use in preserves, marmalades and liquors. Citrus are well suited to pot culture and it is recommended to use good quality potting mix. Fertilise monthly with a complete, slow-release, pelleted fertiliser all year round. Grafted on Citrange root stock

Soil: Prefers a site with good drainage and moderate moisture through the warmer months.
Conditions: Suits a prominently sunny position. Shelter from strong winds. They prefer a frost-free environment although it will tolerate light frost once established.

Tall and slender, the perfect size for a flowering evergreen hedge, Camellia Paradise Pearl is breathtakingly beautiful at every stage. Camellia japonica Tiffany is a stunning evergreen shrub known for its large, vibrant, semi-double flowers in shades of rich pink with a soft, white center. This elegant variety of camellia offers glossy, dark green foliage and a refined, compact growth habit, making it ideal for small gardens, patios, or as a statement plant in borders. Blooming in late winter to early spring, Tiffany adds a touch of sophistication to any landscape while attracting pollinators.

Conditions: Partial to full shade, prefers cool, moist conditions

Camellia Elegans Champagne harkens back to the Age of Elegance. A classic, late-flowering camellia, Elegans Champagne will delight with gently ruffled double white flowers with cream centres. Japonica camellias are ideal varieties for southern states as they are slightly more resilient to cold than the sasanqua kinds. With its dense, deep green foliage, Elegans Champagne is perfect for hedging, topiary, feature planting, and container planting. Like all camellias, Elegans Champagne can be pruned fairly hard if required.

Soil: Plant in well-drained soil prepared with mulch.
Conditions: Sunny or partly shaded position with morning or afternoon sun. Shelter from strong winds and exposed sites. Tolerates drought and frost once established.

Desire is an exquisite flowering camellia featuring large pale-pink blooms with a beautiful white centre. Its glossy green foliage provides a stunning contrast to the vibrant flowers and makes it an excellent choice for adding a pop of colour to any garden or landscape. Best grown in shade, but exposure to morning sun is recommended for Desire to perform at its best. Flowering from mid-winter to spring, this is another excellent plant with deep green foliage that offsets the flowers beautifully.

Soil: Prefers to be grown in humus-rich, well-draining soil.
Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Will grow Australia-wide and is tolerant of both heat and light frost, but may need protection in extreme situations.
Size: Height 1.5-3m x width 1-1.8m

Camellia Debbie is an attractive bushy evergreen shrub with beautiful, semi-double pink peony ruffled flowers displayed from winter to spring. The dark green, glossy foliage provides a sharp contrast against the plentiful blooms. Prune after flowering to the desired height and shape. Ideal for specimen planting, hedges and screens, the flowers are a delight to cut for the home.

Soil: Humus-rich, well-drained soil.
Conditions: Can be grown in the full morning sun to quite shaded positions. Keep out of the hot summer afternoon sun.
Size: 2-4m x width 2-3m

Tasmanian lanceolata Mountain Pepper is a tall, native evergreen shrub or small tree. This lovely example of a bush food plant occurs naturally in the cool, temperate rainforest areas of Tasmania, Victoria and New South Wales. It has distinctive reddish branches and smooth, narrow green leaves. Its creamy flowers appear in small clusters in September, with the female tree producing dark red berries that turn black when ripe in around March or April. The leaves have a hot flavour when chewed, and the berries are enjoyed by native birds. Both the leaves and berries can be dried and used as a cooking spice, and when milled, the hardened berries make for a terrific substitute for conventional pepper. Give it a feed with organic slow release fertiliser in early spring and late autumn.

Please note: You’ll need both a female and male plant to produce fruit. 

Soil:  Choose a free draining spot and prepare the site with compost and manure, then mulch well after planting to keep the soil moist. 
Conditions: Plant in a sheltered site that is either in dappled shade or receives morning sun. Frost, wind and cold tolerant.
Size: Height 3-5m x width 2-3m. The tree can grow to 10m in native habitats.

Metrosideros excelsa Dwarf Mini Christmas is a dense, dark green foliaged shrub with red stems. Stunning vibrant orange/red pin-cushion flowers appear during the summer months bringing festive cheer to the garden. A great bird-attracting shrub, Mini Christmas is ideal for hedging and is perfect for screening and coastal landscaping.

Soil: Will tolerate most soils but prefers moist, well-drained conditions.
Conditions: Full sun. Drought, heat and coastal hardy.
