The glorious red and cream winter flowering of lovely compact Grevillea Winter Delight brings a beautiful soft colour to the garden in the cold months. The fine, grey-green foliage of this low-mounding, compact native shrub provides interest when the plant is not in flower. The grevillea can be trimmed back behind the spent flowers once the danger of frost has finished for the year. Feed at the same time with a low phosphorus fertiliser. It is an excellent choice for mass planting, poolside, coastal gardens and pots.

Soil: Plant in well-drained soil, mulch well and water regularly until the plant is established.

Pure Silk is a beautiful, evergreen shrub with glossy-green foliage. The camellia produces a magnificent show of pink buds which open to stunning pure white, semi-double blooms. Pure Silk is perfect as a hedge with its dense foliage and strong growth habit. It is well suited as a floral display in pots, as a specimen tree, and espalier.

Discover the unique features of the Great Eastern camellia, a plant that boasts evergreen beauty and vibrant blooms.. When in bloom, the Great Eastern camellia presents large, striking flowers which may vary in colour, typically showcasing shades of crimson. Each blossom, which can be up to 12 to 15 centimetres in diameter, nestles amongst dark glossy green leaves. Whether planted as a hedge or showcased in a feature pot, the Great Eastern Camellia is a versatile shrub known for its vigour and cold-hardiness.

Soil: Plant in a free-draining soil that is medium to acidic pH, rich in organic matter.  A potting mix rich in humus is ideal, added at the time of planting. It is recommended to create a mound if your garden has clay soils.
Conditions: Sunny or partly shaded position with morning or afternoon sun. It can be grown throughout Australia and is tolerant of both heat and light frost, but may need protection in extreme situations, especially when young. Shelter from strong winds.

Known commonly as the Native Gardenia due to the scented, white starry flowers displayed on this evergreen rainforest tree, Atractocarpus fitzalanii (syn. Randia) is known for its beauty and fragrance. Considered a small tree, it can grow upwards of 5m in optimal conditions with a canopy forming habit. In a long flowering season covering spring to autumn, highly fragrant white flowers gleam against the glossy green foliage. The scented flowers are followed by an edible yellow fruit. Its hard-shelled fruits are 6-7cm in diameter, containing a pale, soft and sweet segmented fruit with many small white seeds. Similar to a mangosteen in size, shape and flavour, they may be enjoyed raw on their own or used in salads, tarts, cakes and other desserts. With regular pruning, the Native Gardenia may be kept in a pot or at shrub size, making it a fabulous display plant, particularly during flowering season.

Bush Tenacity is a vibrant kangaroo paw variety admired for its glowing yellow-gold flowers that sit proudly at the ends of strong, upright stems. The blooms are beautifully contrasted by vivid red stems covered in fine hairs, adding both colour depth and soft texture to the display. The strappy green foliage forms a tidy clump at the base, providing structure and contrast to the colourful flower spikes above. The Bush Crystal kangaroo paw produces a spectacular display of crimson pink flowers through spring and summer. Arched deep green foliage creates a dramatic contrast to the brightly coloured flowers Perfect for any garden or pot or as a cut flower, as the flowers hold their brilliance for weeks and won't fade in the sun. Cut old flowering stems back to the base to help with new flowering.

An Australian native, Agonis flexuosa After Dark is a variety of the West Australian willow myrtle. This particular variety produces spectacularly lush foliage shaded a deep burgundy, changing with the season with flushes of bright claret and purple foliage - deepening to dark burgundy in winter. During late spring, it produces clusters of petite white flowers that peek through the dark foliage. After Dark can be used for screening, trimmed as a hedge, or as a feature tree. It has a fibrous root system so it makes a good tub or container plant.

Soil: Well-drained soils. Sandy soils will need additional compost to help hold moisture.
Conditions: Full sun. Grows well in most areas of Australia except for tropical and mountain zones. Coastal and frost tolerant to -3*C
