Fertilise every six months with a slow-release Australian Native feed for best results.

A delicious and unique fruiting tree, the Ecuadorian Orange Tamarillo produces sweet, creamy orange fruit with a milder flavour and lower acidity than traditional red tamarillos. Also known as the Tree Tomato, this fast-growing evergreen tree is a fantastic addition to edible gardens and backyard orchards.
Clusters of fragrant flowers appear in autumn, followed by vibrant orange fruit that develops through spring and ripens over the following months. The soft edible seeds and rich flesh can be enjoyed fresh from the tree or used in jams, chutneys, sauces, desserts, and smoothies.
Tamarillos are naturally rich in vitamins A and C, making them a nutritious addition to your home-grown harvest.
