Agonis flexuosa Nana is a compact dwarf shrub with dense foliage and reddish new growth. It forms an effective hedge or low screen and responds well to pruning, allowing shaping as desired; left unpruned, it remains relatively tidy with a broad, compact form.

Purple Cloud is a deciduous agapanthus forming a dense clump of strap-shaped leaves. Tall flower stems bear large umbels of nodding, deep violet-blue blossoms from mid to late summer. Hardy and low maintenance, it’s ideal for formal and cottage gardens, large containers, and borders. Deadhead to reduce self-seeding and divide crowded clumps as needed.

Agapanthus Double Diamond is a clumping dwarf form with narrow, strap-like, dark green foliage. In summer, it bears round clusters of pure white flowers that are double to semi-double, on sturdy stems that brighten landscapes from summer through autumn. It rarely sets seed pods, contributing to an extended, continuous bloom period. Excellent for containers, rock gardens, borders, or mass plantings as a striking feature plant; evergreen in milder climates.

Fortunella japonica Kumquat is a charming small citrus tree prized for its distinctive fruits, which are oval-shaped, brightly coloured, and uniquely edible whole. The sweet rind contrasts beautifully with the tart, juicy flesh, creating a delicious balance of flavours in every bite. The tree itself features glossy dark green, elliptical leaves and bears clusters of small, fragrant white flowers that appear in spring and summer. These blossoms develop into vibrant orange to golden-yellow fruit that resembles miniature oranges. Kumquats are hardy and adaptable but thrive best with regular watering and feeding during the growing season. Fertilise with a citrus-specific fertiliser for best results. Prune after fruiting to maintain shape and encourage new growth.

Kniphofia Sweet Corn produces numerous short, butter-yellow flower spikes that rise neatly above its compact clump of foliage. This sublime dwarf perennial, a refined form of torch lily (also known as red hot poker), combines strong architectural appeal with long-lasting seasonal colour. Bred for its exceptionally short, grassy leaves and tight, tidy habit, it forms a dense mound of slender, strappy green foliage that provides year-round structure in the garden. From summer through autumn, masses of soft yellow flower spikes are held proudly above the foliage, creating a bold yet elegant display. Ideal for a wide range of garden settings, it performs beautifully in containers, borders, rockeries, dry river beds, and mass plantings.

Lychnis flos-cuculi Petit Jenny shares similarities with L. ‘Petite Henry.’ Its double blooms cluster along the stems, resembling frothy soft lavender-pink pom-poms, and persist from late spring into autumn. Resilient and winter-hardy, this perennial gracefully withdraws underground during the autumn, only to reemerge with renewed vigor each spring. The enduring charm of ‘Petit Jenny’ goes beyond its aesthetics, as it, too, is adored by bees, making it a delightful addition to pollinator-friendly gardens. An elegant evergreen conifer, the Nordmann Fir forms a dense, pyramidal shape with branches that sweep to the ground. In cultivation, it typically reaches 15m tall × 6m wide, though in its native range (Turkey, Georgia, and the Caucasus) it may grow up to 60m. Its glossy dark green needles create a striking contrast with smooth charcoal-grey bark. Reddish-brown cones appear upright on branches, a distinctive feature of firs. Slow growing, with a 1.8m specimen taking around 10 years to produce.

Soil: Rich, moist, acidic, well-drained soils. Does not tolerate heavy clay soils.

The Nagami Kumquat is an ideal patio citrus with great foliage, habit and small, bright orange fruit through winter. A beautiful combination of sweet and bitter, Nagami can be eaten whole off the tree. The rind is smooth and sweet - eat the fruit whole or use in preserves, marmalades and liquors. Citrus are well suited to pot culture and it is recommended to use good quality potting mix. Fertilise monthly with a complete, slow-release, pelleted fertiliser all year round. Grafted on Citrange root stock 

Soil: Prefers a site with good drainage and moderate moisture through the warmer months.
Conditions: Suits a prominently sunny position. Shelter from strong winds. They prefer a frost-free environment although it will tolerate light frost once established.
