The Rose of the West eucalyptus tree is a very decorative, dense, mallee-type tree with the largest of all the eucalypt flowers. The blooms are a spectacular red to pink-red with a diameter of 10cm. The subsequent gumnuts are a stand-out feature of this tree - the gumnuts are substantial in size, silvery in colour, and covered with a fine grey powder.

Soil: Well-drained soil. Tolerates sandy and poor soils.

Prunus avium Lapins cherry is a late-maturing cherry tree with a bright appearance. This cherry is an excellent bearer and grower of juicy, large dark red to mahogany fruit. Callistemon Burgundy is a big bold shrub that produces pink new growth and maroon to dark purple bottlebrush flowers from late spring to early autumn. The callistemon is fast-growing, hardy, and great for attracting wildlife. Ideal for use as a specimen tree, hedge or as a stand-alone addition to add colour or contrast to the garden. Prune Burgundy after flowering and feed with a native fertiliser.

The Oak Leaf Hydrangea(Hydrangea quercifolia) is a white flowering large leaf shrub better suited to the Aussie climate, as it tolerates the heat and dryness of our summers better than other hydrangeas. The Oak Leaf Hydrangea features large green oak-shaped leaves that take on exceptional colours in the autumn months, and if that’s not enough, this beautiful hydrangea shows off stunning clusters of large white flowers, making this a shrub for all seasons. Oakleaf hydrangeas are best pruned immediately after flowering. This allows you to enjoy the beautiful blooms during the growing season, and pruning later in the season or in winter may remove the flower buds for the following year.

Conditions: Like all hydrangeas, this variety prefers morning sun and afternoon shade however it will not do well in heavy shade. Heat and coastal tolerant.

Damperia Mat Blue is a stunning dwarf and resilient Australian groundcover. It presents an abundant showcase of delicate blue flowers above its green foliage. This adaptable species flowers sporadically in autumn and heavily in late winter and spring. Native bees and butterflies are drawn to its charm, making frequent visits during the flowering period. Crowea exalata White Star is a round, compact evergreen shrub with linear mid-green leaves that are aromatic when crushed. This lovely native shrub bears masses of ivory white star-shaped flowers and blooms mainly in spring, however it can also flower sporadically throughout the year as well. Give it a light tip prune after the main flush of flowers to maintain compact growth. White Star is perfect for rockery gardens and borders.

Callistemon citrinus Endeavour is a colourful, evergreen Australian native shrub bearing a profusion of large, brilliant crimson bottle-brush flowers during spring. Ideal for seaside gardens, shrubberies, as a screening or hedge plant. Prune Endeavour behind the old seed heads to encourage an even more dense habit, and can be cut back hard if it gets untidy.

The Autumn Blaze maple tree - Acer x freemanii Jeffersred - is a large, showy deciduous tree suited for public spaces, avenue plantings, and medium to large properties. Stunning vibrant green, maple-shaped leaves in summer months, turn a deep red in the autumn, providing an expansive show of colour. It makes an excellent shade tree and is perfect as a statement piece in large parks. The leaves are toxic to livestock so it is not suitable for grazing paddocks.
