Protea 'Sylvia'

Protea Sylvia is a hardy evergreen shrub with flowers of unusual beauty. Sylvia features bold pink cup-shaped flowers with red overtones, creamy white eyes and lavender centres. The protea flowers from autumn to spring; providing a stunning splash of colour to the garden during the colder months and supplying food for birds and bees. It has attractive olive green foliage upon its upright spreading habit. Sylvia is perfect as a feature plant, a hedge or a screen. It also makes a striking feature in cut floral displays.

Soil: Well-drained soil. If you have clay soils, use mounds to facilitate drainage.
