Pittosporum tobira, or Japanese Pittosporum, is a rounded, broadleaved evergreen shrub or small tree. Glossy, vivid green leaves are tightly arranged in whorls at the ends of the stiff branches, and fragrant, orange-blossom-scented flower clusters appear in early to mid-spring. Along with having unique and showy foliage, Japanese Pittosporum is extremely resilient and can be grown as a houseplant, a bush, or a small tree.
