Goodenia humilis, or Swamp Goodenia, is a native, low-growing perennial herb with a creeping, spreading habit. Its soft, hairy, elongated green leaves form a dense mat, above which clusters of bright yellow flowers rise on distinctive zig-zag stems from spring through summer. Hardy and adaptable, this groundcover is well-suited to garden beds, rockeries, mass plantings, boggy sites, and areas around ponds. It can even tolerate being submerged with water just over the rim of the pot, making it an excellent choice for wet or poorly drained conditions. Also ideal for hanging baskets and containers, Goodenia humilis brings dependable colour and texture to native gardens and moist landscapes.
