Gaura White is a bushy, hardy perennial shrub with long graceful stems that bloom with soft white flowers in spring-summer. The stems are long and slender with the blooms swaying gracefully in the breeze hence the popular name Butterfly Bush. Plant this gaura in mixed beds and borders, cottage gardens, meadow-style planting, and waterwise gardens. For an extra-long flowering season, remove spent blooms and feed with liquid fertiliser. Cutting plants hard back after flowering will prevent them self seeding.
