James Roof Garrya elliptica is an unusual evergreen shrub that gives an attractive winter display of long pendulous catkins 20 - 30cm long and cream in colour. As the cream-coloured catkins last for many weeks, James Roof is great to espalier as it shows off the form of the tassels. James Roof makes a great screen, specimen or pot plant.
