Doryanthes palmeri Giant Spear Lily
$68.00
The Giant Spear Lily is a spectacular Australian native prized for its tough, upright clumping habit, large bright green sword-shaped leaves and remarkable flower displays. Endemic to New South Wales, this succulent perennial is one of only two species in the genus Doryanthes. In spring, towering flower spikes can reach up to 5 metres above the foliage, producing impressive clusters of large red flowers. The flowerheads can become so heavy that the stems gracefully bend under their weight, adding even more character to this dramatic feature plant. An excellent choice for large gardens and containers, the Giant Spear Lily brings bold architectural structure and an unforgettable splash of colour to the landscape.
