Convolvulus sabatius Blue Moon is a dense and trailing prostrate perennial with slender stems and small oval green/grey leaves. It bears clusters of open, deep blue funnel-shaped flowers from spring through to autumn. Its lovely trailing habit makes it useful for spillover plantings on banks, hanging baskets or in pots. Non-invasive and easy to grow for low maintenance areas as well as adding restful, cool colour to the summer landscape. Prune firmly every year or two.
