Camellia sasanqua Paradise Stephanie

Camellia Paradise Stephanie is a beautiful and vigorous camellia sasanqua with a dense, upright growth habit and glossy green foliage that provides year-round structure in the garden. During the cooler months, it produces an abundance of striking deep pink to red double flowers with petaloid centres, creating a vibrant display when colour is often scarce elsewhere in the landscape. Its naturally compact and tidy form makes it an excellent choice for hedging, screening, borders, espaliers, feature planting, and decorative pots or containers. The rich evergreen foliage complements the colourful blooms, making it equally suited to courtyards, cottage gardens, woodland-style plantings, and formal garden settings. Pruning requirements are minimal. A light trim after flowering is generally all that is needed to maintain a neat shape and encourage dense growth. If grown as a formal hedge or shaped specimen, more regular pruning may be required.

Conditions: Full sun to part shade. Drought and coastal hardy - moderate frost tolerant when established.
