Trachelospermum asiaticum, or Asiatic Jasmine, is a vigorous, fine-leaved climber or ground cover with clusters of very fragrant star-shaped white flowers in summer. As opposed to the similar Trachelospernum jasminoides, the asiaticum species is best suited to being used as a groundcover plant. Its spread and self-suckering growth habit make it ideal for semi-formal or even formal applications. This hardy low-growing plant has been growing in popularity in the garden design and landscape community. It can be used where a less aggressive and formal style of ground over is required.

Wisteria sinensis Alba - Chinese Wisteria - is truly stunning in flower with its divine flowers and perfume. In spring, it produces large spectacular sprays of fragrant, white flowers up to 45cm long before the foliage appears. The light green foliage cover is perfect for cooling summer shade and lets the winter sun stream through. Unlike most climbers, the wisteria is very woody, developing a true trunk with age, so it can be planted where space doesn't allow for a deciduous tree. It can be used for covering and beautifying garages, pergolas, arches, and fences.

Hibbertia obtusifolia is a compact, evergreen shrub perfect for adding vibrant colour to low-maintenance gardens. Its deep green foliage forms a neat, low, spreading mound that becomes smothered in large, bright yellow flowers from spring through summer. This cheerful display makes it especially effective in rockeries, along retaining wall edges, or woven through mixed garden beds. Highly suited to coastal conditions, Hibbertia obtusifolia thrives in sandy, well-drained soils and shows good tolerance to salt spray. While only marginally frost hardy, it performs beautifully in warm climates where it can form a dense, sunny carpet of blooms.

Radiant white flowers adorn Aloha Bright White Mandevilla - a gorgeous plant that can be trained to climb, trail or cascade. Add colour to your garden with this striking flowering vine as the eye-catching white blooms flower continuously from spring until autumn. They like something to climb up like wire mesh fencing, arbors, trellises or pergolas. Mandevilla enjoy a feed now and again so use either a general purpose controlled release fertiliser in spring and autumn or one of the many liquid feeds. You’ll be rewarded with denser, healthier foliage and increased flowering response. Cut back to desired shape after flowering and they will even respond to a hard cut. Best to do that before winter at the end of their flowering season.

Hops require a sturdy trellis for stable growth and provide a lovely display in a pot or hanging basket. Harvesting of hops begins when the flower cones feel light and dry, in late summer - early autumn. After harvesting, dry the cones in a shady spot with good airflow. After harvesting, the bines can be trimmed back.
