Wisteria floribunda Honbeni, also known as Wisteria floribunda 'Rosea', is a beautiful Japanese wisteria variety. It is loved for its 30cm long clusters of fragrant, soft pink flowers with a lavender tinge that bloom in spring. The deciduous foliage is also stunning, with new growth having a bronze tinge, deep green leaves in summer, and a pleasant yellow color in autumn. This wisteria is a vigorous, deciduous plant that is great for climbing up walls, fences, arches, or pergolas with sturdy support. Regular pruning during summer is recommended to control growth and encourage the development of many short spurs that will produce more flowers in spring.

Hedera helix Camouflage Ivy is a vigorous evergreen self-clinging climber with wonderfully random patterning in bright white over deep green. When mature plants climb up a support and become tree-like, the leaves turn diamond-shaped and the plant will bear black berries in winter. To prevent unwanted garden escape, dispose of trimmings and keep Camouflage Ivy contained in a pot. As Ivy is such a hardy and vigorous grower, it is also ideal to use as ground cover or to cover walls and trellis. It is a superlative plant for wildlife - a fantastic shelter plant for birds and a food plant for insects. Feed with a controlled release yearly during spring and follow up with liquid fertiliser monthly during summer.
