Prunus armeniaca Dwarf Moorpark apricots are exceptionally sweet and fragrant while also maintaining an essential amount of acidity to create the classic and perfect apricot flavor. This pure golden fruit grows much larger than other apricots, typically reaching the size of a large peach! It is an ideal fruit tree for backyards, and substantial pots and tubs. It is a self-pollinating and prolific bearer of fruit with the picking season being late summer. The rare adaptability and resilience of this tree, combined with its exceptionally sweet and large fruit, has made Moorpark one of the most popular apricot trees for home orchards all across the country. Like all produce plants, correct pruning, regular fertilising and watering will result in an abundance of fruit.

The Eucalyptus cephalocarpa, or Mealy Stringy Bark, is a medium gum native to southeast Australia. The tree has beautiful long slightly silver foliage and a wonderfully dense canopy. Creamy white blossoms appear in autumn providing food for bees, followed by decorative brown gumnuts. This eucalyptus is a very adaptable and hardy tree perfect for screening and shade.

Eucalyptus cosmophylla is a species of small tree, or mallee, that is endemic to South Australia. Commonly called the Cup Gum, it is a rounded, shrub-like tree spreading as wide as it is high. The Cup Gum has smooth bark and lance-shaped adult leaves and displays white flower buds arranged in groups of three and cup-shaped, cylindrical fruit. Eucalypts require very little attention once established. Although the plant will continue to grow without fertiliser it will produce more leaves and flowers if fed. It is important to remember that all eucalyptus are sensitive to high levels of phosphorus so make sure the fertiliser you choose is for Natives.

Eucalyptus polyanthemos is a medium to large, native tree suited to open spaces and broad streets. The distinctive, grey-blue-green leaves are a major part of the tree’s appeal, creating a dense, grey-coloured canopy. Forsythia x. Intermedia Lynwood Gold produces an amazing floral display in spring with an abundance of bright golden-yellow bell-shaped blossoms. Another spectacular show of colour is forthcoming in autumn when its leaves turn bright yellow with a hint of orange and red. A fast-growing forsythia, Lynwood Gold is perfect for growing as a shrub border or hedge and as a colourful ornamental plant. After flowering, prune flowering stems back to a lower side shoot. Apply a slow-release fertiliser after pruning.

Fraxinus griffithii, or Evergreen Ash, is an attractive, quick-growing ornamental tree with dark green smooth leaflets with silver-coloured undersides. Masses of flowers in large loose, fragrant panicles appear in spring to autumn - covering most of the tree. The blooms are followed by white " helicopter" seeds that hang on the tree to mid-winter. This species is great for use as a small feature tree in gardens, parks or paddocks, as an avenue planting or as a screen or windbreak
