Acer negundo Pink Flamingo

The pink and green foliage of the Pink Flamingo asserts quiet confidence and colour in a smaller garden. The colourful new growth emerges in spring, fading to white as the season progresses. Contrasting without needing to steal the whole show, this compact tree forms a rounded crown with pendulous outer branches. A hardy variety of maple that will handle most conditions. Cultivate well before planting with compost/cow manure and mulch well after planting.

Soil: Prefers moist well-drained soil but will tolerate wet or dry soils.
Conditions: For best results plant in full sun. Tolerates some coastal conditions.
