The Silky Oak is one of the most popular native ornamental shade trees in Australia as well as one of the tallest grevilleas. It has dark green, lobed foliage with a silver reverse, dark grey bark and showy golden-yellow flowers. Silky oak is great for erosion control, as a screen or windbreak, as a large feature, street or paddock tree. Native birds, bees and butterflies all love this Proteaceae beauty ensuring the garden is filled with sound and colour.

Barklyana Grevillea is a very tall, evergreen shrub or medium tree with dark-green foliage and unusual musk-pink flowers that look like toothbrushes.
