Taxodium distichum ‘Cascade Falls’ is a stunning weeping form of the Swamp Cypress, admired for its elegant, pendulous branches and fine, feathery foliage. This deciduous conifer features rich green leaves through spring and summer, turning bronze-yellow in autumn before falling to reveal striking red-brown bark. Lychnis flos-cuculi Petit Jenny shares similarities with L. ‘Petite Henry.’ Its double blooms cluster along the stems, resembling frothy soft lavender-pink pom-poms, and persist from late spring into autumn. Resilient and winter-hardy, this perennial gracefully withdraws underground during the autumn, only to reemerge with renewed vigor each spring. The enduring charm of ‘Petit Jenny’ goes beyond its aesthetics, as it, too, is adored by bees, making it a delightful addition to pollinator-friendly gardens. The Nagami Kumquat is an ideal patio citrus with great foliage, habit and small, bright orange fruit through winter. A beautiful combination of sweet and bitter, Nagami can be eaten whole off the tree. The rind is smooth and sweet - eat the fruit whole or use in preserves, marmalades and liquors. Citrus are well suited to pot culture and it is recommended to use good quality potting mix. Fertilise monthly with a complete, slow-release, pelleted fertiliser all year round. Grafted on Citrange root stock

Conditions: Suits a prominently sunny position. Shelter from strong winds. They prefer a frost-free environment although it will tolerate light frost once established.

If you're looking for a hardy native shrub, then look no further than Grey Edge! The Rhagodia parabolica is a small to medium shrub with attractive grey-green felty leaves featuring a slight twist. Small greenish-white fragrant flowers appear in spring and summer, followed by bright red fruit. Grey Edge can make a wonderful addition to the garden or landscape where the lovely grey foliage can be used to advantage. Ideal for waterwise gardens, erosion control, coastal windbreaks and roadside hedges.

Tristaniopsis laurina Burgundy Blush is a selected dwarf form of Tristaniopsis laurina. It is a compact and brightly coloured shrub, with rich burgundy growth in winter which contrasts beautifully with the normally deep green foliage. This plant is compact in habit making it suitable for any garden that requires low structured plantings and little maintenance. Burgundy Blushs' attractive rich red foliage and compact habit makes a stunning low to medium hedge and is the native alternative to Photinia robusta.

Morus alba Unryu, or the Contorted Mulberry, is a cultivar that features gnarled, contorted, zigzag branching on a tree but most often grows or is maintained via pruning as a much smaller shrub. It is a rare, and exciting shrub producing edible white fruits, ripening to a purple colour during autumn. Once the lime-green leaves drop, the curled and wavy growth pattern of the trunk and branches is revealed. The contorted mulberry is an incredibly beautiful focal point - perfect for any garden as its lovely white-green blooms attract bees and butterflies, and its contorted, wavy branches attract the eye. Prune in late autumn or winter to avoid bleeding.

Luculia Early Dawn is reputed to be one of the best fragrant flowered shrubs with fragrance likened to gardenia and vanilla. It is a beautiful semi-evergreen plant with magnificent large, soft glossy-green leaves. Sizable clusters of delightfully fragrant light pink flowers are produced in early winter. Early Dawn makes a lovely specimen shrub in any garden or a stunning semi-hedge. After flowering prune back to half height and follow up with an application of slow-release fertiliser to encourage new growth and maintain a neat compact habit.

Conditions: Protect from frost in a sheltered, sunny position.

Limonium Dazzle Rocks is a compact, mound-forming, evergreen perennial with sprays of small lavender-purple flowers blooming in abundance on thin stems held above a low-growing rosette of leaves. Also known as Statice, the clusters of long-lasting flowers are a perfect beacon for attracting highly valued pollinators to your garden. A stunning plant in a pot or in the garden, these beautiful flowers look great in a vase, and are wonderful as a dried flower, making this an extremely versatile plant however it is used.
